Woodland

Our routes have woodland sections. Although most routes will likely be trodden, take care of where you tread! Everything lives. Don't forget your hammock and watch out for deer!

Moorland

Our routes have open moorland sections. You will be exposed to the elements of Dartmoor so be smart! Pack water and make sure you have the right kit - sun cream or waterproofs.

Rocky

Our routes have plenty of rocks for you and your little ones to play and climb on! Be safe and show your mini people how to climb with their hands as well as their feet. Look out for letterboxes!

Swimming

Our routes have spots where you and the clan can paddle, dip, swim and jump depending on where you go. Although most river spots we have are safe and slow, always be cautious of fast currents.

Testimonials

Honestly brilliant. It's exactly what we've been missing. I could never just find good outdoor routes that have been fully thought about for kids - which weren't REALLY busy! I can't wait to try out more walks!

Sophie. A

Mum of three.

I need things to do which are suitable for my 10 year old and my two year old! And Dartmoor Partner gives me those activities! We pack a bag and off we go, knowing the route has been tested for people just like us already.

Laurie. W

Dad of two.

Seeing a mixture of routes that are kid friendly and cover different types of terrain is extremely useful. I've just moved here and didn't know where to go with my two little ones. This nails it.
