With Haytor just above the hotel and Bovey Tracey only a short drive away, it’s a brilliant base for walking, relaxing and making the most of this much-loved part of Dartmoor.

Food and drink are a big part of the experience, with modern British dining in the restaurant, relaxed meals in the bar, Sunday roasts, afternoon tea and seasonal events throughout the year. Dogs are welcome in the bar, making it an easy choice for walkers and four-legged guests too.
