Holne Tea Rooms

Holne Tearoom sits in the heart of Holne, a peaceful Dartmoor village surrounded by some of the loveliest family walking areas on the southern side of the moor.

It works beautifully with routes around Venford, Bench Tor and Newbridge to Sharrah Pool, where woodland paths, river views, open moorland and proper Dartmoor quiet can all be part of the day. After a walk, the tearoom offers the kind of calm, village stop that feels just right, friendly, simple and rooted in the rhythm of the place.

Food is served through the day, with breakfast from 10am to 12pm and lunch from 12pm to 3.30pm. Cakes and cream teas are available all day, making it just as useful for a slower morning start as it is for a post walk treat as you pass through the very beautiful village of Holne.

It is a lovely place to pause after nearby routes, whether you’re warming up after a moorland wander, sitting down for lunch with tired children, or making space for tea, cake and a proper Dartmoor cream tea before heading home.
