About:
The Green Table
The Green Table is an independent café, dining and event space set within the Dartington Estate, just outside Totnes.
The café is bright, relaxed and fully accessible, with plenty of indoor seating and a covered outdoor terrace. It is open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, with everything prepared in house using local ingredients, often organic and always seasonal. Their menus include breakfasts, salads, soups, sandwiches and homemade cakes, with plenty of vegan and gluten free options available.
The Green Table also opens later on Friday and Saturday evenings, when the space shifts into casual dining with hand stretched pizzas, small plates, beer, wine and cocktails, alongside regular live music.
Its Dartington Estate location makes it a particularly useful stop for families spending time around Dartington, Totnes and the southern edge of Dartmoor. The wider estate offers plenty to combine with a visit, whether that is a walk, time in the gardens or a slower family day in the area.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, and bookings are generally only needed for groups of six or more. Current opening times are Monday to Thursday from around 9am to 7pm, Friday and Saturday from around 9am to 9pm, and Sunday from around 9am to 5pm.
A flexible Dartington stop for breakfast, lunch, coffee, homemade cakes and relaxed weekend evening dining.
